 Just what I needed August 31, 2006
I have mounted this to my compressor via two U-bolts and love this product. No complaints.

Not a bad hose reel at all for the price. Made very well and it's priced much better than comparable reels. Mounting is no problem if your mounting it on a cement wall. If you need to mount it on a stud wall you will have to fasten a 2x4 horizontally to the wall first and then mount the reel to that. The holes are only 12" on center. A nice 3 foot lead hose is also included to connect to an air compressor or a regulator. I run two air hoses in my garage, I was so happy with the first i purchased another.

Buy this product for the reel, not the hose. The hose is so stiff that it is nearly impossible to use with air tools, and winding it up with the reel is an exhausting chore. I plan to buy some good reinforced rubber hose and splice it into the hose right after the bend restrictor. The reel itself is fairly sturdy, I wouldn't call it "heavy duty" though. Even with its drawbacks it is still a good value at $34.99.

this product will keep your air hose from notting up and safe from being on the floor.
