Amazon.com Product Description Make the DEWALT DC527 18 Volt NiCad Fluorescent Area Light the first light you reach for in the dark. The 13 watt fluorescent bulb lights up for a work area for hours on a single charge without getting warm and the "twist-and-lock" lens cover allows efficient and simple bulb changes. It’s light weight with a stable base and easy to hang from its pull-out hook. Use it with your DEWALT 18 volt batteries in any place you need a bright, portable light.

Worklight January 8, 2009 This was a good deal at$27.95 and i got free shipping. It was $49 at lowes
Plenty of light January 2, 2009 This is a great light. It is a general area light, diffusing its light over a wide area. It provides light to work by, but it also doubles as a great light when your power goes out and you want light to live by. It is bright enough that you can read by it. For work, I use it as a supplimental light along with my more directed DeWalt light source.
Construction is solid. This is a typical DeWalt product. It will last forever and never fail you when you need it.
DeWalt 18 volt NiCad light December 28, 2008 Great product. Bought it for my dad who is an electrician, to replace his old drop-light. He loves it.
GREAT IN ATTICS December 22, 2008 GREAT IN ATTICS. NICE AREA LIGHT, TAKES MOOR BATTERY THAN EXPECTED. DONT LIKE THE AUTO SHUT OFF.BUT WOULD BUY IT AGAIN!
Great addition December 17, 2008 I have both 12V and 18V tools, with the majority of my cordless tools being 12V. This is an excellent addition to my 18V tool collection to provide area light, while my 12V light is more of a spot light. Excellent addition to my 18V tool set.
